IELTS Goes Fully Computer-Based in India From September 2026
Candidates can take the paper-based IELTS only until August 2026, after which they can choose between IELTS on Computer and IELTS on Computer (Writing on Paper).
Candidates who prefer the paper-based format will be able to register for the final three test dates scheduled in July and August, after which the option will no longer be available in the country.
